Kanye West’s latest sneakers will finally be available this weekend. Adidas’ Yeezy Boost 350 V2 comes out on Saturday at 10 a.m. EDT, though getting a pair is easier said than done.
There are several ways for consumers to land a chance at buying the sneakers on the day of their release. Most of them involve raffles for the opportunity to purchase the $220 sneakers, since the footwear is so highly sought after.
Multiple websites are offering online raffles. Registration for the raffle at Allike ends on Friday afternoon, and winners will be contacted when the sneakers are released Saturday morning. Black Market USA will have a drawing on Sunday with raffle tickets costing $5 apiece, and winners will be contacted by phone or email to complete their purchase on the same day. Registration for the raffle at Oki-ni ends on Friday, but the winners won’t be contacted until Monday.
Other websites, like Afew Store and Livestock, are holding raffles through Instagram. Afew Store requires contestants to repost its Instagram post while tagging three other friends. Livestock requires that contestants follow the Instagram account, while reposting and liking its post about the Yeezy Boost 350 V2. Livestock will announce the Instagram handles of the winners at 2 p.m. EDT on Saturday.
Foot Locker is holding in-store raffles on Saturday morning, though tickets for the raffles were already given out on Tuesday and Wednesday. Shoe Palace will have live raffles at nine different locations.
The sneakers can be acquired online when a few retailers officially release them, though they will likely sell out quickly. Both Adidas and Urban Outfitters will have online releases at an unknown time on Saturday, while Sneakernstuff’s release is set for 7 a.m. EDT.
Reservations on the Adidas Confirmed app went live on Wednesday at 4 p.m. EDT, though consumers that didn’t act quickly were left seeking other options.
West left Nike for Adidas in 2013. He signed a long-term partnership with the company earlier this year.
