Keste Invites You to ‘Share the Love’ at Annual Food Drive

PLANO, TX – (February 8, 2021) – Keste is holding its first annual ‘Share the Love’ food drive at their offices in Plano, TX on February 20th, benefitting Crossroads Community Service, and invites the local community to participate.

Keste is committed to providing critical resources for local families through our Transform Dallas initiative. Transform Dallas is Keste’s employee volunteer initiative and works with the community to improve the environment and provide important resources for local residents. Recent programs include building accessibility ramps for disabled veterans and making blankets and coloring books for Children’s Hospital patients and families.

Crossroads Community Service serves low-income families and individuals in Dallas County by providing them with nutritious food and supportive education through pantry, food distribution, and research programs.

Andrea Allen, Channel Manager at Keste, invites Plano residents to stop by the food drive with their donations of canned goods and pantry items. “Dallas County is seriously impacted by hunger. The rate of food insecurity here is 47% higher than the national average, and Keste is committed to helping bring that number down,” Allen said. “We’re asking Plano residents to join in and help us to “Share the Love” and make sure that our neighbors are being taken care of in this time of need.”

Howard Moore, CEO of Keste, expressed his continued support for Crossroads and emphasized the importance of their mission by saying, “Crossroads Community Services is an indispensable organization for Dallas County and I’m proud to support them. This organization has grown over the years to provide millions of meals for families and we’re committed to helping them provide even more.”

“COVID has impacted and changed how Crossroads manages and distributes these critical resources,” said Sri Ayyeppen, CTO of Keste. “In addition to the food drive we’re helping to build a stronger future for their technology programs. We’ve partnered with CCS and Salesforce to build an application that will meet Crossroads’ new challenges and modernize their delivery model.”

Keste will be accepting donations of canned goods and pantry items at their office at 6100 W. Plano Parkway in Plano from 9am to 1pm on Saturday, February 13th. Crossroads Community Service is also accepting donations online through February 19th at this address: https://ccsdallas.org/give/. For more information, visit the Share the Love Food Drive website.
